The “Sustainable Meetings Berlin” program has set itself the task of steering the event industry in a more sustainable direction and committing the participating companies to a continuous improvement process. Participating companies must report on various criteria from the four areas of environment, society, economy and governance, risk & compliance.
The company’s performance in the four areas is reviewed and evaluated in an audit process.
Following this, the company receives certification as a Sustainable Partner and commits to continuous improvement in the subject areas. The monitoring audit then takes place annually and measures the improvement in the topic areas.
